It was Sept 11th  

when 7,000 were called up to heaven  

the world was interrupted  

by bad thoughts and destruction  

the cries and fears  

slowly turned into tears  

by people not knowing their fate  

trying to figure out  

what brought on so much hate  

but there is no doubt  

we stand stronger together  

then we stand alone  

holding our children  

protecting our home  

do not take it lightly  

our soldiers are out there fighting  

we stand fifty-two states wide  

trust me it is all pride  

there is no pretending  

because this war has not ended
