Please note that I am coming from being in your exact spot so like it or not I know exactly what I am talking about. 

Not saying every single statement defines you but if you can agree with most of these statements, my point is made. 

After 15 years of being stuck in a destructive cycle of self-exploitation 

I have come to these conclusions: 

you will never make enough money to be happy

you will never be completed by a man, you are not a puzzle piece 

your beauty is absolutely skin deep 

you will never be as excited as you once were 

you will never realize why you talk to people you despise  

you will never be drunk enough not to remember  

you cannot be bought 

you will never have enough GUCCI 

you will never have enough LOUIS VUITTON 

you will never have enough makeup 

you will never look at men the same 

you will never look at women the same 

you will have anxiety 

you will be consumed with depression 

you will be stunted (mental growth) 

you will never be satisfied with your boob job 

you will never meet the right man / or keep the right man. 

(He will never respect you if you do not respect yourself)  

(He will never stop playing video games when you are at work) 

(He will never get a job with you paying for everything) 

(He will never stop cheating with internet women)  

(Babysitting his own children is not a job) 

you will never have your rent by the first of the month 

you will never be the IT girl in the building  

you will never gain the respect you deserve 

you will never understand why you cannot walk away 

Until you start loving yourself to a point where you value yourself enough to realize all the things, I just stated are true 

you will heal  

you will grow 

you will feel again 

you will lead 

you will be heard 

you will not worry 

you will understand, and be able to hold peace and joy

You will realize that what you were is not who you are today  

It is my truth
